Positive Areas |
Connor, great working with you a couple weeks ago. Here are some notes from the game.
First thing you came prepared, dressed shirt tucked in socks pulled up and whistle in hand. You were prepared with the rosters to check players in and you had a plan for timing of when that should occur. You had some great foul recognition and were in great position for the few offsides calls you had to make. You were also in great position to see the ball going out and who it went out on. Great Job! |
Areas for Development |
A few things to improve on that we talked about; During goal kick situations, try to always keep your eyes on the ball. Back pedal is the best way to get back into position or just keep checking over your shoulder in case they play quick as you are getting into position. You had great vision for when the ball was going out, just try and be a little stronger with your arm signals. At times you seemed to wave your hand the direction the throw-in was. Keep those arms straight and solid. Lastly every time the ball goes out for a throw or a kick, check your shoulder and see if there are any subs. Players get impatient and will start running on the field if subs are ignored however, you did improve on this from the first half into the second half though after we chatted briefly at the half. Great job! keep it up! |
